Tips for Pre-Configured Labs
Monitors take up a lot of space, and teaching in a lab often means being aware of the limitations of sight lines for students.
Use the Conestoga PowerPoint template for Labs, if you use PowerPoint. This template emphasizes the top two thirds of the screen.
Consider using a tablet, touch based laptop or an interactive projector to do live demonstration of software, rather than the mouse and monitor at the podium.
Use Faronics Insight to share your screen directly to student monitors.
